Hot Banana Expands Channel Partner Program

Web CMS provider adds ODA, CubicICE, ClearGauge, Nectar, Incorporated and Portent Interactive to program

“Our new partners are all experiencing healthy growth and with that, the need for a top-notch system to satisfy the demands of their expanding customer bases,” said Krista LaRiviere, General Manager, Hot Banana. “Hot Banana gives them the features and the flexibility they want - and that their customers are demanding.”

Hot Banana (www.hotbanana.com), the Web content management solution (CMS) from J.L. Halsey, has added five new channel partners to its reseller program. In signing with Hot Banana, all cited the need for a leading-edge Web content management system that is feature-rich, flexible and marketing-friendly.

Joining Hot Banana’s partner roster are ODA (www.odasf.com), a creative services agency based in San Francisco; CubicICE (www.cubicice.com), an intelligent marketing services company based in South Africa; ClearGauge (www.cleargauge.com), an online marketing services and analytics consultancy based in Chicago; Portent Interactive (www.portentinteractive.com), an Internet marketing company in Seattle; and Nectar, Incorporated (www.nectarinc.com), a multimedia production agency based in New York City.

ODA selected Hot Banana after a careful review of its own in-house system and other available solutions on the market.

“We needed our Web content management solution to be flexible, feature-rich and SEO-friendly,” said Chris Black, director of technology, ODA. “Hot Banana gives our designers and developers the ability to satisfy all of our clients, many of whom have extensive online marketing needs. Hot Banana enables our developers to extend past the core technology by adding custom modules that open the door to new and exciting online initiatives within the Web CMS arena.”

ODA initially selected Hot Banana’s solution in the spring, and intends to move all of its clients to the new system from an in-house solution. Five clients have already completed the migration. Among these are Foxhollow Technologies (www.foxhollowtech.com), Xtent (www.xtentinc.com), and Tzero Technologies (www.tzerotech.com).

“The switch to Hot Banana has gone quite smoothly and we’ve been able to migrate clients over at a faster rate than we anticipated,” said Black.

Hot Banana’s Web content management system provides integrated Web analytics, lead source and conversion tracking, Web form validation, and enables the seamless transfer of Web form data to salesforce.com and NetSuite. Hot Banana works with almost any SFA, CRM, database or e-mail marketing solution and is compliant with the latest version of ColdFusion.
