Customers Embrace CommonSpot Version 5.0

PaperThin, Inc. announced that four customers have recently gone live on CommonSpot Version 5.0, including: LeSea Broadcasting, Ping Identity, Tulane University, and Tuthill Corporation. In addition, 30 customers are currently implementing the new solution which is being widely embraced for its inherent ease-of-use and improved flexibility.

“Our website had too much outdated information, largely due to how complicated it was for departments without dedicated webmasters to maintain their own sites,” said Rachel Hoormann, Tulane University director of Web communications.  “CommonSpot will allow us to enable virtually anyone with minimal training and no Web experience to contribute to the site and maintain their own content, which will in turn help us keep the Tulane Web site current and factually correct.”

“Ease of use, customizable workflow, globalization, short time-to-implement, and flexible technology with scalability were key factors that led us to buy CommonSpot,” said Chad Gabriel, Tuthill Corporation manager of e-services.  “We launched our new website in November, just two months after purchase.  The net result is that CommonSpot’s ease of use helped us to quickly and easily publish content and to implement a new site design which improves the overall customer experience.”

CommonSpot 5.0 features include a new and intuitive authoring interface, RSS feeds, Blogs, Wikis, and XML publishing and rendering capabilities.  The ease-of-use inherent in CommonSpot 5.0 empowers business users to be self-sufficient and productive, build interactive communities, and achieve faster time-to-market; while its flexibility empowers IT and site administrators to easily adapt the system to meet their complex and ever-changing needs.  These enhancements enable organizations to achieve better business results.

“The welcome reception we’ve received from our customers to CommonSpot 5.0 is extremely rewarding to see,” said Todd Peters, president and founder of PaperThin, Inc.  “The features in this release were a milestone for CommonSpot, providing a foundation that we will continue to build upon over the years to come.”
